The RESQ+ Transport Project is a new transport service for RESQ+ Participants, with the aim of reducing barriers and helping those secure on-going employment opportunities, by responding to the need for transport, for work related activities, for medical appointments, going to job interviews or to their place of employment, and social activities around the local district of Charleville. The aim is to assist our RESQ+ Participants improve their access to their local community.
Many of our RESQ+ Participants face barriers and challenges when it comes to getting around town, especially when they don’t have access to a vehicle, or unable to cover the increasing cost of petrol. The RESQ+ Transport Project, is aimed at helping make sure our RESQ+ Participants get where they need to be safely.
The RESQ+ Transport service launched in the South West town of Charleville and is currently only available to RESQ+ Participants.
The RESQ+ Transport project is funded by the National Indigenous Australia Agency.
Our RESQ+ Transport drivers will collect you and provide you with a safe and comfortable ride to your chosen destination. Our vehicles can cater your needs, whether you need to access health services, go shopping, or attend social outings, we can provide you with a safe transport solution.
This service is available for RESQ+ Participants who wish to travel around the Charleville area only (20kms radius – please see map below).
